Meet the team on the “Community”

Anthony Marchment Anthony has been the technical lead for MessageStats since the products beginning and also serves as one of Quest’s Windows Management Experts. During his spare time he enjoys volleyball, hockey, golf and cooking gourmet meals with his wife. They recently celebrated the birth of their first child. You don’t ever want to get into a deep discussion with Anthony on the many ways Exchange routes mail!

Bill Armstrong Bill is the development team lead and specializes in Sendmail, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Lotus Notes. Bill feels privileged to work in software development as it is a field that moves and changes very quickly: “There’s never the risk of things getting boring … always a new challenge to tackle, some new platform to become familiar with, some new software development technology to master. How many people get paid for their hobby? Only the lucky few. “ Outside of work Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and kids going for walks in the woods, camping and skiing.

Sawan Goyal Sawan is a senior software developer/scrum master for MessageStats and specializes in Microsoft Office Communication Servers and project management. He enjoys researching "computer stuff", watching television, listening to classical Indian music and investing in real estate.

Nicolae Anca Software developer Nic Anca began his career as a software developer in Madrid, Spain and now works on the MessageStats team specializing in Windows Mobile. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, soccer and Formula 1.

Frank Blais Developer Frank Blais works on the MessageStats team in the development and maintenance of reports and data sources. He enjoys music, the outdoors, BBQing and playing Wii games, especially with his family.

Jim Hume Developer Jim Hume enjoys being a part of the MessageStats team and jumps at the chance to research new technologies. Jim’s hobbies include playing video games, and wrenching projects.

Laurie Morgan Laurie Morgan serves as technical writing lead for MessageStats. In her spare time Laurie enjoys camping, hiking, swimming and reading.

Felix Karpel Software Developer Felix Karpel originally hails from the Ukraine and now lives in Canada. Felix enjoys playing computer games and listening to Russian rock music in his spare time.

Vy Tran Software Developer Vy Tran was born in Vietnam and now lives in Canada with his wife and 2 children. Vy enjoys soccer and swimming.

Norman Wong Software Developer Norman Wong turned his hobby of working on computers into a career: “Computers have truly lived up to the title of Jennings Karla’s book The Devouring Fungus. They have even spread into another one of my hobbies: photography!”

Robin Sagriff Lead Quality Control Analyst Robin Sagriff is a specialist in software design and software verification. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, learning the ins and outs of raising two small children. He also enjoys hockey, downhill skiing, motorcycles and console gaming.

Tina P. Tian QC analyst Tina Tian works to test MessageStats Report Packs. A native of China, Tina enjoys spending her time with her family and kids watching movies, playing ping pong and tennis.

Tim Behnke Tim Behnke serves as quality control analyst. Originally from a small town called Bancroft just west of Ottawa, he’s quite an outdoors person. In his spare time he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, working out at the gym and PC gaming.

Emily Xie Emily Xie serves as quality control analyst. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching TV and traveling.

Jon Duc Jon works on the quality control team for MessageStats and brings years of experience in computer operations and networking. Jon enjoys spending time with his family and hopes to finish renovations on his house someday.

Rob Sargent Rob returns to the MessageStats team as Product Manager after having managed it from 2005 through 2008. Rob also manages Spotlight on Messaging, Quest's troubleshooting and diagnostics tool for messaging environments. Prior to joining Quest, Rob served as the senior messaging administrator with the City of Ottawa. Though based in Ottawa, Canada, Rob enjoys working for SoCal-based Quest because he's a huge Angels fan.

Connie West Product Marketing Manager Connie West takes care of product branding and messaging, marketing strategies, and sales training and support for MessageStats.
